"We need to teach our Little Learners today because they are our tomorrow, they are our future."
Little Learners Preschool has provided a positive learning experience for children since 2003. We have a caring and nurturing staff that are all certified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and are also CPR and First Aid certified.
Children learn at their own pace and should be treated as individuals. We believe a safe and nurturing environment will provide endless opportunities for children to learn and grow. They should be encouraged to explore, make choices, learn and apply new skills and make new friends. Children are eager to learn and teachers will guide them in any way they can.
The goal at Little Learners is to provide a positive learning experience for every child, which will help them to develop a positive self-concept and self esteem. We want to teach the children to respect diversity and individual differences while they learn about the world they live in. We want to support the child's family, in hopes that together we will contribute to the child's health, growth and development in a way that is positive and most beneficial.
All programs are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and include learning activities in the areas of:
English Language Arts
Mathematics
Science and Technology/Engineering
History and Social Science
Comprehensive Health
The Arts
Preschool - 2.9 years old and up
This program nurtures every area of a child’s development. At this age, social growth and school adjustment are especially important. Children are learning how to make new friends, express their feelings in healthy and appropriate ways, and discover the joy of learning through play. Our daily experiences are designed to support these skills while creating a fun, engaging environment.
Early Learning Foundations
Throughout the school year, children are introduced to a wide range of early learning concepts, including:
• Colors
• Numbers
• Letters
• Shapes
• Nursery rhymes
• Early math and science activities
These experiences help build a strong foundation for future learning while encouraging curiosity and confidence.
Celebrating Diversity and Multicultural Education
Multicultural education is a meaningful part of our curriculum. Children learn that people may live in different types of homes, speak different languages, enjoy different foods, or wear different clothing—and that these differences are not only okay, but something to celebrate. By exploring diversity in a positive, age‑appropriate way, we help shape children’s attitudes for the future, teaching them that while we may come from many backgrounds, we are all people deserving of respect and kindness.
Pre- Kindergarten- 4 years old and up
Kindergarten Readiness
This program is designed to help children build the skills and confidence they need as they prepare for kindergarten. Using a creative, play‑based curriculum, children participate in age‑appropriate activities that support growth across all areas of development. Social development is a key focus, helping children learn how to work with peers, express their feelings appropriately, and navigate new experiences with confidence.
Early Learning Skills and Classroom Foundations
Throughout the school year, children explore essential early learning concepts that support kindergarten readiness, including:
• Colors
• Numbers
• Letters
• Shapes
• Early math and science
• Nursery rhymes and language activities
These hands‑on experiences strengthen cognitive skills, build curiosity, and help children feel comfortable and capable in a classroom setting.
Learning About Our World Through Multicultural Education
Multicultural education is woven into the curriculum to help children understand and appreciate the diverse world around them. They learn that people may live in different types of homes, speak different languages, enjoy different foods, or wear different clothing—and that these differences are not only okay, but something to celebrate. By introducing these ideas early, we help shape positive attitudes for the future and teach children that, despite our differences, we are all people deserving of kindness and respect.

Engaging Days Filled with Learning and Fun
At Little Learners Preschool, each day is thoughtfully planned with activities that support both social and academic growth. Children learn best when they’re having fun, and our classroom experiences are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage joyful exploration.
Learning Tailored to Every Child
Every child learns in their own unique way, and our lessons are adapted to meet those individual learning styles. Whether a child learns best by seeing, hearing, or doing, our activities are designed to engage, inspire, and help them thrive. This personalized approach ensures that every child feels successful and supported as they grow.
